BackSteps you can take
Information on measures such as hand washing, maintaining physical distance, and isolation from others.
- Wash your hands regularly
- Wet your hands with clean, running tap water. Turn off the tap and apply soap.
- Maintain body distance
- The virus is spread from person to person. Keeping physical distance means keeping a certain distance from
people other than family members to prevent the spread of the disease.
Avoid physical contact with others.
When going outside, keep at least 6 feet away from others. Others include friends or relatives. Keeping a
distance from other people's pets is also necessary. - Wearing a mask
- Wearing a mask can protect yourself and others from germs and help slow the spread of viruses.
If you can't find a mask, you can make a makeshift one. You can make a mask from finely woven cotton clothing,
such as a bed sheet or handkerchief, or, if you have limited access, a T-shirt fabric can be useful. Click on the
button below for full instructions from CDC.
